Sam Mead

Managing Director

Sam lives his purpose of ‘unlocking growth’ to ‘enrich lives’. He has more than 20 years’ experience across various industries and functions including Strategy, Brand & Shopper Marketing, Innovation, Sales, Strategy, People and Culture.

Sam leverages a depth of retail and FMCG industry experience from his time at Diageo, Woolworths & Human Synergistics. A collaborative, passionate and self-reflective leader with a natural and engaging style, yet direct and intuitive with an ability and willingness to engage in a robust debate. He is a divergent thinker who is quick to recognise opportunities to optimise performance.

Sam has a Bachelor of Communications from CSU and is also an LSI accredited practitioner, Neuro TREAD accredited facilitator and Extreme Thinking accredited practitioner.

Sam lives in Sydney with his wife and 4 young children and on the weekends can be found at the beach as an active member of Long Reef Surf Life Saving Club or being outdoors with his family and friends.

Sonia Brooke

Head of Organisational Development and Design

Sonia is a strong advocate for applying growth mindset principles to all facets of life. She finds purpose in helping individuals, teams, and organisations make small but influential changes that enhance their overall wellbeing. Having recently completed further study in Psychology, Sonia brings many years teaching and educational experience to the team as the Head of Organisational Development and Design. She strives to combine her knowledge of teaching and psychology in new ways in order to pursue her passion for encouraging individuals and teams to reach their potential.

Sonia holds a Graduate Diploma in Psychology from the UNSW, a Bachelor of Education from QUT and a Bachelor of Photography from Griffith University. She currently resides on the Northern Beaches, Sydney.

Rosa Malinovic

Client Experience Manager

Rosa is a Sales & Marketing professional, with over 12 years of experience working across both agency and client-side roles for multiple luxury and FMCG brands. After completing an Advanced Diploma in Business Management & Marketing at Williams Business College, Rosa gained a breath of experience across various roles including shopper marketing, category, account management and sales functions, working for global companies Coty and Diageo. She is responsible for the customer learning experience at Mind Street.

Karen Delvin

Executive Coach & Lead Culture Strategist

Karen has worked at senior levels with ASX100 companies, government, and community organisations including Engenco, NAB and Energy Australia.

Karen presents with professional integrity, pragmatism and empathy for the changes facing twenty-first century leaders. Her expertise centres on the daily realities of operational and strategic management where change is vital to success. Karen has coached boards, chief executives and executive teams through significant restructures and innovative cultural change programs. Her work leading the design and implementation of a global coaching program at one of the ‘big four’ Australians banks achieved international recognition.

As an experienced executive Karen understands how diversity of thinking at board, executive and staff level drives productivity and innovation. As a coach and mentor, Karen supports and inspires leaders to achieve superior performance outcomes. Drawing on her experience in leading organisational transformation projects, Karen encourages leaders to observe their organisation from a systems perspective recognising the value in aligning
strategic change and leadership practice. As a facilitator Karen helps managers develop and operationalise strategy, giving them the tools to motivate and involve their teams. The results are tangible – improved performance for leaders, teams, and the business.

Partnering with clients, Karen delivers customised culture change programs, working with individuals and teams, using proven methods and internationally recognised diagnostic tools including the Human Synergistics: Lifestyle Inventory, Leadership Impact and Organisation Culture and Effectiveness Inventories.

Ian Crothers

Executive Coach, Learning Design and Facilitator

Ian has worked with MACRO Leadership as one of the founding Partners since mid 2016. Ian is also the Principal of Ian Crothers & Associates, a consulting practice that he established in 1997. Additionally, Ian currently contracts on a part time basis as a Consultant to Human Synergistics, where he has held a role since 2008.

Since 1997, Ian has undertaken many Learning & Development assignments for a range of clients, across a range of Industries. This includes assignments with The Australian Institute of Management (AIM), Radio Rentals, Westpac, BlueScope Steel and Challenger Financial Services.

Prior to forming his own consultancy, Ian held the position of Customer Service Training Manager for Optus and worked as a Management Development Consultant with the NRMA.

Helping Leaders and Managers to be as effective as they can be is Ian’s passion and this is achieved through highly refined group facilitation skills combined with thoughtful, targeted coaching conversations.

Ian has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of New England, where he majored in Sociology, and a Post Graduate Certificate in Organisational Development and Training through Southern Cross University. He also holds a Certificate 4 in Assessment and Workplace Training as well as accreditation in the Human Synergistics Life Style Inventory (LSI), Group Styles Inventory (GSI), as well as the Leadership and Management Impact Inventories (LI & MI). He is also accredited in the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI).

Paula Morin

Administration Manager

Paula is a task-driven and meticulous individual who brings over a year of administrative experience to the table with expertise in scheduling and correspondence. Proven ability to support the daily administrative and operational functions by working in partnership with C-level executives.

She has a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from the University of the Philippines Los Baños. She can be seen in the boxing gym three times a week.
